当店の衣類のほとんどは少量のご注文で手作りしており、お客様のために特別に製作するため、1～4週間ほどお時間をいただきます。正確な納期については商品説明をご覧ください。オーダーメイドとは、お客様からご注文をいただいた場合にのみ衣類を製作することを意味します。これにより廃棄物を削減し、お客様のために特別に仕立てた衣類をお届けすることができます。

Each Hope Macaulay piece is expertly handmade using super soft, luxurious wool and yarn. Because our knits are chunky and crafted by hand, they require a little extra care to keep them looking beautiful for years to come.

The good news is that wool naturally requires less washing than fibres such as cotton or synthetics. It is naturally odour-resistant and breathable, meaning frequent cleaning isn’t necessary.

We recommend using a professional dry cleaner for a full clean. For small stains, spot cleaning immediately is best.

To spot clean:

• Dampen a cloth with cold or lukewarm water
• Gently pat the affected area
• Lightly squeeze out excess water (do not rub)
• Lay flat on a clean surface to air dry

As with all handmade knitwear cardigans and coats, we recommend avoiding machine washing entirely. For best results, professionally dry clean when needed and spot clean between wears.

A gentle shake between wears is also a simple way to remove dust and keep your knit looking fresh.

Folding your knitwear piece into our storage bag and into a drawer or box is always the safest storage option. Although, if you would like to hang your knitwear piece up for a short period of time, we recommend using non-slip hangers that have rounded edges to avoid slipping and snagging.

Please take into consideration when you receive your super colossal knitwear piece that pilling may occur when worn. This is totally natural and due to the super thick, luxurious nature of the un-spun wool/yarn. The thicker the knitwear piece, the more likely it is to pill. 

Pilling is loose fibre, shedding or little balls that form when the knitwear piece is worn. This may happen more on the inside of the garment due to the friction against our clothes.
