Who made it: Designed by Hope and hand-knitted with care by our talented team of local knitters in Northern Ireland. Each item comes with a label which has the knitter’s name who created it, so you’ll know exactly who brought your piece to life. Read more about us here.
How it’s made: Our Colossal Wool is hand-processed by our knitters to achieve the perfect thickness, then hand-knitted entirely without needles - just skilled hands! Only ever made in small quantities.
What it’s made from: 90% Merino wool and 10% sari silk - a natural, renewable and biodegradable fibre. Our wool is responsibly sourced and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified, which ensures high standards of animal welfare, land management, and social responsibility. It comes from non-mulesed flocks, and the dye used is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it’s free from harmful chemicals. Our sari silk is crafted from up-cycled sari fibres, ensuring that the original materials are diverted from landfills. Instead, they undergo colour sorting and deconstruction to be transformed into this sustainable recycled fibre. For more information, please see our FAQ page.
